Finished the Thesis Final Review Book

Here are some images from the book.  There is a lot of information in it about how I did what I did on the Thesis.  The books will be printed by Monday, perfectly timed to hand the in the the graduate school.

Dolls

I have something special for you today.  Here is a prototype product concept designed by my Products Manager, Lucy Bryan.  With enough initial orders, the fox could be sold for $6.99 and Kate could be sold for $24.99.  The box set for these items would be $32.00.  Would you buy them?  This box set is just a prototype with no intent of mass production but if it gets enough interest, we may change our minds.  If you want to include your vote to sell, you can get a hold of me at natbryan@gmail.com.








Book Cover

Here is the book cover screen.  I had some problems recently with the new z-depth lighting process I am using but the problem has been solved.
The process is by combining z-depth with a flat toon-shader image image via a multiply process.

Moving Fast now.

Things are moving fast now.  Here is a new update on the forest.  More to do on the background, foreground, and Kate's Glade.  I need to finish the Doll rig, orange rig, and bows.  Its all animation after that.

Back at the grinding stone.

After time for breathing, I have returned to my baby.  I have begun working on music and the background.  To be finished at the end of this semester is my goal.  Here is some work on the background before adding color or the distant matte painting.  I think it will look pretty good after finishing and combining the files.

Vulpes Rig .2 in progress

I have built up the Low-Poly-Parent-Constraint version of Vulpes and I have connected the bind skeleton to the control skeleton.  I am still working on the low high poly version and I am beginning to skin it now.

Progress on Vulpes

I did some work today on Vulpes.  I am pulling in some deformation objects for Vulpes.  I am going to keep muscle systems to a minimum but I thought it would look nice to have a really well made main character.  I will see about working more on Kate's Rig later.

Just so you have an update

I have been working my storyboards to finish and working on facial expressions that will appear in the animation.  I start animating shots today.

For Vulpes, I am still working on the rig.  I deleted the bones and am going to finish him alongside the buffalo that I am working on for advanced animation.  I am doing small touch-ups to my textures and begin working on the background this next week.
